ABOUT

Ella B Artwear is inspired by and named after our mom/mother-in-law and her indominable spirit and love for artful design.  Growing up in Germany, her love for clothing design began as a child, and at the age of 20 she started a career creating apparel designs for a company in Berlin.  She then immigrated to the States, became a citizen, raised a family, and for the past 35 years has been running her own boutique, The Country Lady in Door County, Wisconsin.

I, Jeff, have always enjoyed assisting my mom with the set up and purchasing for her business. Now my wife, Jodi, and I are venturing out ourselves to also offer women’s apparel in the same spirit-- focusing on artistic but still practical pieces that can be worn every day.  Jodi's also been shaped by her mom's creative influence, which you'll be able to see on her jewelry page (coming soon!).
